Cults of Cleansing - Plastic Pills on Religion II

This is part II of the plasticpills diatribe on religion, focusing on metaphor as the original decision making process in a world and specifically the metaphors of religious laws that begin with keeping your hands clean and end with the mass murder of dirty peoples.

One gripe I have with your explanations in regards to wokeness is that wokeness in itself has religious functions to it. Wokeness is not meant as a pejorative but as the current expression of liberalism. I would argue that there is no outside really. Same with immigration or migrants. It is true that Europe has a huge influx of migrants from the Middle East, it is also true that people from a certain area are over represented in knife crimes (https://mediendienst-integration.de/artikel/messerkriminalitaet-welche-rolle-spielt-die-nationalitaet.html); however it seems that all of this lies within the religious mechanisms of capital S-society. It’s like the Zizek phrase “the moment you think you are outside ideology, you are within it.” I do still take away a lot of things from this and I like that you, pills, do some solo content as well!

Wow it's all so symbolic. All in this together until a sacrifice among us is needed to reaffirm the BELIEF that we're all in this together again.
