Actually, I'll make one point. The 'UNIT family' (Sergeant Benton;Captain Yates;Jo Grant;The Brigadier) were with the Third Doctor throughout his era. Make note of The Brig (as he's known): he's a fan favourite,and crops up in lovely cameos throughout the Classic era. He may even turn up in the Modern era as well ;)
