It's a Trap! 005: Winchester Hand Traps

One illustration seemed to show 2 clays loaded into the trap. Did you happen to find the instructions that presumably came with them?

Gary Hassler

Having trouble even finding the dang tools...

C&Rsenal

that sound is really pleasing for a click. true.

Guido Schriewer

But it fits in muh pocket! That one hits a bit close to home, and it's hilarious

Andrew

Another story-- I saw an elegantly dressed Italian man effortlessly nail 25 out of 25 on a Skeet course with his .410 Perazzi.

Minis are in the standard mix on the monthly Sporting Clays shoot at our gun club in Alpine, CA.

OldFrenchy

Well for sure there are two "not Midgets" involved here.... My guess is that Winchester had their own "Proprietary" clays for these traps.

Bruce Williams

When is the reloading video using the vintage tools you show in the intro coming?

Gary A

If clay throwers are meant to train for wildfowling then having them go in any direction must be better, surely? Not great for the safety of the thrower perhaps; and it would never get into 3 gun though.

Over on YouTub I have just written 'Now 674 likes from 5,242 views. That's over 12%! The loyal views really love this channel.' and it's true. Obviously patreons make up a lot of the early viewers; but it is still very impressive.

Bradwan

I still wanna see Kevin bust a clay with his matchlock... Unless Eric will loan him one of his cannons!

It's a guy thing

omg the editing zoom in. mines much larger !!! omg

Leslie Alexander

Hmmm, that could work...

Gage

Not sure if they're the exact same as they are using in the video, but White Flyer makes a 60mm clay (as opposed to the normal 108mm) which they refer to as a mini clay.

Hunter Compton

If there was any sort of predictability for either of them, I'd say yeah, but... The series, however, is awesome. Hope it continues for a long time.

Drizzle

Yeah, these two traps seem pretty half-baked. Good show, though.

David Axel Hansen

glad to know we all watched the same obscure 90's cartoons...

Joined your Patreon for the history, this stuff is just really value add.

You need to treat those minis as buckshot and pattern them :). Wishing you a safe trip home from Uvalde.
