Found Anvil vol 005 via a link from https://laststandonzombieisland.com/ - and was intrigued. Really like what you guys are doing in the shop. Just watched Primer vol 000, and seeing all the work you guys put in, and all the enjoyment I get out of it, I've doubled my monthly commitment to both Anvil and Primer. Please keep it up!

No wonder it's so hard to find 56.56 rimfire (and other discontinued cartridges). I should have known law and taxes would be part of that equation...

Jay is doing it in house. They buried the art of custom handloading with the changes in ammo tax and law. Really risky to handload for other people now.

Let me know when you can give Mark a break. I need him to refurbish my Spencer carbine. LOL Oh, and can you hook me up with your ammo maker?

Good Lord, I thought I had a to do list! I'll second some video or written info on the hand made ammo. Us reloading freaks enjoy that stuff. Maybe Mark can do it, he ain't doing nothing else (sarcasm!!!).

I will have to check. Also nice Jay Sherman

I keep trying to get Jay to do some filming

People are uoset we let the American stuff sit but honestly I am saving it for when we get stuck or need "easy" production

C&Rsenal

usually 3 mags per gun get it done

C&Rsenal

We appreciate it but we have German down

Concerning the books. Have you thought about talking to the guy who runs Military History Visualized? He's on Pateron as well and Indy just did a joint episode with him. He's in Austria and collects all kinds of books from the region for his series. He might be able to scan the book you need.

Wayne Moyer

I know you have a lot on your plate, but at some point, I would love to see you put together a series or book about how you made some of the ammo. There are a couple on your current list I would be interested in hearing about (I have a 71/84 Mauser I never fired, Type 14 and Type 94 Nambu pistols with only 50 rounds in my inventory, and I plan on obtaining a Type 26 next time I see one laying around). And again, if you make your way to KC on your trip out west, my invitation to take you to the National World War I museum is always open.

Milsurp Mike

Do you just sit back sometimes thinking on American pistols and their ammo needs and just relax just a little bit?

Chairman

How much ammunition is enough for testing and filming? Just curious.

After WWI we'll go on to just cover whatever we feel like as opportunity arises. Any planned out, "complete list" series afterwards would be just too hard. We're barely surviving WWI and I'm down to no take-home pay again.

go on...

At times, do you think you are getting "in the weeds" too much? Really like your work and the channel but even for a gun nerd like me some of the detail on the lesser used guns is less interesting. Will say the work on MP18 is neat. Very historical. But at some point is there a conclusion to the series? I say that because I assume WW2 would be a follow on. Or maybe a short series on Spanish American War? I think your work is great.

I may be able to help with Hungarian connections.

Keep the history coming

Paul beat me to it, cap and ball seems like a "top bloke" to me. Worth dropping a line to.

Ian

Where are you located ?

What about the gent from the Cap and Ball YouTube channel for your Hungarian book issue? Not sure if you are in touch with him, but seems like a like-minded guy who might help you out.

Paul Dame

I might have around 70 rounds of older factory 351 WSL laying around if you're interested. I think its one box of FMJ's and the rest are soft points

38super_partizan

I've got some 9mm rimmed for a type 26 if you need some. It's cut down from something but chambers fine in my revolver. Haven't shot it much but would be willing to donate to the cause. Have no idea how to Private message so just commenting on here.

Fuck this

Drei Linien is about Mosin-Nagants? When you need help with translation from german i can try to help.

Christoph Sonder

You and your teams dedication to doing this right is greatly appreciated..thank you for the endless hours sacrificed.
