Recently I was reminded that yoga is the BEST thing I can do. You see, I had broken my foot... and during the days and weeks and months of healing I looked forward to returning to an active life, free from the limitation of injury.
When I finally did return to a yoga practice it was a new world. My routine leaned into simplicity and stability to regain strength and conserve energy. Everything done while standing to target the foundations.
This is by far the easiest way to start a yoga practice so I thought it would be a perfect time to document a beginner’s approach to yoga.
