Juiced II will continue HERE!

So, as the title suggests, I’ll continue Juiced II on Patreon. That series is near and dear to my heart. Part of that, I think, comes from the original story being successful and having an ending. I don’t think that’s something many people can be proud of.

Juiced II had quite the stride in its own right, nearing thirty chapters—double that of the original story—and while it certainly differs from that in some ways and is far more ambitious in terms of narrative and themes, it’s something I feel needs—deserves—an ending. The funny part is we’re nowhere near the conclusion, with several chapters still to go. I hate the idea of knowing that, what might be my longest narrative piece to date, is left unfinished. It gnaws away at me, knowing that. So aim to change that.

The question then is, why make the move to Patreon? Money is an excellent motivator if one could forgive my moment of bluntness. To be clear, I’m not doing this for the sole benefit of monetary gain (I’m both grateful and successful enough as it stands with Patreon). On the contrary, I plan on giving back to the community by commissioning artists more often. There are a few artists in the femuscle community I’ve meant to comm for a while. But I digress.

Further, Juiced II will NOT be exclusive to Patreon going forward. The series started on Deviantart; it’ll continue and hopefully end there too. If you’re wary of how I’ve been handling content for the last little while, the plan is to write and publish individual chapters for Patreon first, then upload them to Deviantart after an undisclosed amount of time. At the moment, I haven’t decided how long that time gap will be, but I’ll figure something out.

Looking back at when Juiced II was last updated, I’m aware it jumped the shark in a particular element. When Chapter 24 was published, it had a rare Cronenberg-esque conclusion. Remembering that day well, at the time, I’d only just recently finished watching The Thing. I’d watched that film countless times before, but for some reason was inspired by it on that occasion. For my sanity and wanting to continue and hopefully conclude the story as initially planned, Chapter 24 will now be retconned and deleted. It may already be deleted by the time you read this. Chapter 23 is the chapter from which we will continue and build.

At the moment, I don’t have an exact timeframe for when Juiced II will continue on Patreon, but I’m leaning towards a start in early July. Readers won’t have to worry about panic reading to catch up or refresh as I’ll be bundling all previous chapters into the PDF for Patreon and leaving them in the Juiced II folder on Deviantart to read at your leisure.
