A little bit brooding
Added 2020-10-20 08:14:00 +0000 UTCThere is no one look that makes a model. Society tells us that you can only be sexy if you fit a very narrow window of body types. I'm a firm believer that there are sexy people of a very broad range of body shapes.
Andrew is a part-time model and actor who I was lucky enough to photograph in the first half of 2016. He's naturally really lean but oozes sensual charisma. Maybe for me his appeal is in his tanned smooth skin but for a lot of people it's probably the beautiful toned body combined with his broody smouldering looks.
On this morning we drove down to the Royal National Park and had plans to shoot in the beautiful lagoon there that was glassy smooth that morning but just as we were about to get him naked for the shoot, a family arrived that appeared to be muslim so we figured they might not appreciate a naked man running around. We managed to find some quiet spots away from innocent eyes to do some photos.
This shoot was done well before I started releasing downloads and going through them now it appears that I took a very individual approach to editing them. There are a lot of different colour grading looks throughout the set, as you can see above, but I stand by all those decisions and still like the photos.
