I somehow totally missed this! For me, this type of video can't be long enough. I'm a musician too (play bass, guitar, and synths) and I love hearing all the geekery, right down to specifics like brands and models you use. I knew this video would be killer when you started out by talking about the tone different picks have on guitars. Thanks for the walkthrough!

More of this please! This is fascinating and Falcore does an amazing job of explaining everything and making it completely understandable. I'm brand new to being in a band and I want to know everything about everything so this is perfect! Also there's nothing more beautiful than watching somebody geek out on something they really love.

This is awesome! As a guitar player this is exactly what I wanted to see.

I'm pretty sure that if I handed over my cheap Starcaster by Fender guitar to Falcore, he will make it sound like a $2000 guitar just from the way he plays. The key is the guitarist itself, not the guitar. While a really nice robust guitar can make a difference to your sound, that's actually a really small piece of the musical puzzle. Building skills and practice is the biggest piece.

Currently, I'm just using the Marshall cabinet, but I'm running it in stereo mode. So I have 1 amp with it's own series of FX running into the left side of the cab, and another amp running into the right side. If you want to try this make sure you have a stereo power amp. I mainly use the smaller cab for recording if I want a different sound :)

So awesome to finally get to see of what you use on stage!! 🤩 As a guitar nerd, this video is FOOD haha I have a question about your guitar cabs: since you're using 2 of them, is each one dedicated to a channel (clean / distorted) or are they here for stereo (since you use two amps in each channel)?

More nerd deep dives for sure! I haven't played guitar for years, but I really enjoy seeing the professional, yet casual breakdown of it all to see the methods and techniques that work best!

Great vid Falcore! Thank you so much for sharing this. As a kid of the 80’s, I too love the effect of Chorus. It just adds so much depth and feeling. After watching this I had to grab my guitar and dust off the Boss Chorus and jam out learning the Under Your Spell riff. I’ll work on Looking Glass later as I love that song too! I don’t have a Delay pedal so I ordered one and some JD 1mm picks to try ;) Thanks again and please keep these vids coming!! Would love to see an entire play thru or anymore of these types of vids. Falcore, you're very good at explaining geekie stuff and making it interesting. I would love to see more of your guitars and more detail of your sound setups. I also believe very strongly that music needs to be emotional, so thanks for talking about that. Also, I'd like to hear more about differences between practicing/recording vs how you do things live. Question - do you use footswitches (like fractal audio) to change presets from the AXE FX in a live setting or are these changes synched to a clicktrack or backingtrack?

Beginner guitar player here, been playing on and off since 2016 because I work a conventional job full time even during this crazy pandemic. Falcore I would love to see more, especially TBM song lessons since no TBM songs are on Rocksmith, which is what I've used to teach myself. I agree with you on sweeping since I don't shred either, I feel like a lot of emotion does get lost when you're sweeping. That is a really sweet setup you got there. All I've got is a budget Starcaster by Fender Strat with single coil pickups and Guitar Rig 5. I love the Chorus effect, I even use that in my guitar playing. I haven't touched my guitar in awhile now and this is giving me reasons to pick it up and get back into playing it. I just need to reinstall Guitar Rig. I also need to relearn doing string bends again, its really been awhile since I've last played.
