Disclaimer: in this post I'll specifically talk about DnD Iulius. There are some differences between this Iulius, Jonathan (modern!AU!Iulius) and the Iulius I'm writing about in the comic I'm working on with Diamante. (=￣▽￣=)Ｖ

Alice: Let's talk about Iulius! Who is he?

Iulius a 26 years old human and a divination wizard, and he's one of my DnD characters. When I created him, I decided to challenge myself roleplaying wise: Iulius is based on internal conflict, torn between his duty as a noble and as the heir to his family, and what he really wants to do.

Iulius is a very kind and emotional man, who deeply loves magic and art: he's especially into music, literature and painting. He's very curious, romantic and passionate. He can look serious and kind of a "no-fun-allowed" person, but he actually has a silly and ironic side.

One of his main points as a character is that he feels very constricted and trapped without realizing that the cause of his discomfort is his own noble status. Being a very responsible person, Iulius wants to make his family proud. They're ambitious: he wants to be the best son he can be for his parents and the best example he can be for his siblings. This, though, means that he puts himself under a lot of pressure and he subconsciously uses art (and magic) as a mean to feel free.

Fun facts:

Iulius loves finger food. He adores finger food.
In the illustration up here, he's actually wearing Moria's hat.
His favourite animals are tortoises and turtles! But he likes, like, every animal ever existed and even the ones that don't exist.
Despite looking very composed, Iulius is actually more like... a lively grandpa. Yep. If you've seen The Aristocats, he's kinda like Georges Hautecourt, when he's happy.
His familiar is a hawk called Fulgur, which is very fitting considering that Iulius uses a lot of lightning-based spells!
Iulius deeply despises tight clothes, he says that they make him feel like he can't move freely. He has a strong preference for wizard robes!
