I have to say, you know how I've felt about Yuuto in the past, but I honestly felt so bad for him in this one! When older Sakurai handed him the card, the look on his face was like he was getting a death sentence.... :( Also, I'm so glad someone finally told Ryotaro what I've been saying all along: he IS a strong boy!!!!! <3 Really invested in the story they've built up here and I can't wait to see what happens next! Oh my goodness, your analogy of Deneb being like a mother whose son was called back to war is PERFECT! That was such a great moment, especially considering that Deneb is usually so compliant like you said. This was where he draws the line! I love it; such a great demonstration of his love and devotion for Yuuto.

2020-07-11 13:49:14 +0000 UTCDeneb getting angry at older Sakurai and kicking him off the Zeroliner has to be one of my favorite moments. Like I feel like if older Sakurai had came with anything just the tiniest bit less dire, Deneb would have objections but would just kind of fold and go: "Yes, sir." However here he puts his foot DOWN on this. Like not only did he have objections, but he flat out REFUSES to let Yuuto get more Zeronos cards on his watch. It's almost like watching someone trying to tell a mother whose son returned from the war that her son has to go back to the frontline. I just love this scene so much.
