Chernobyl 1x05 "Vichnaya Pamyat" reaction & review
Added 2020-07-03 11:44:53 +0000 UTCHey everyone!!! Here's my reaction and review of episode 5 of Chernobyl! Wow, we finally get to see all the events play out just as they happened! Valery struggles with whether or not to tell the truth in court, and when he ultimately does, his speech was rousing!!!!!!!! I was so scared for him when they whisked him into that room....!!! But to think that his whole life as he knew it was just taken away instead of death - I think it's almost worse maybe. Boris really shined in this episode too, I loved the dialogue between him and Valery in that one scene. Although incredibly tragic, there were some really satisfying ends to the show, such as Valery taking a stand and finding out in the after credits that despite all her suffering, the fireman's wife was still able to have a child!!!! :'D This series was so educational, moving, intense, and overall great in my opinion. I agree about that scene!! Aw, even if one has seen it before, I can see how it could inspire some tearing up on a second viewing!!!! :'D That's really interesting about the government's response to the show....I'd be so curious to see that version! 2020-07-04 13:12:24 +0000 UTCThe scene between Valery and Boris, albeit still sad, has to be one the most heartwarming scene of the show. And once again, I teared up with you (note that I teared up well enough on my one when I watched it for the first time :p ). I have read somewhere that even if the scientific community in Russia have acknowledged the show for its scientific accuracy, the government was not so pleased with it. And they intended to produce their own version. I don't know if this had lead to anything. Thank you for the reaction, that was really great !
