Added 2020-07-01 11:40:08 +0000 UTCHey everyone!! I'm so excited to share my FIRST full length movie reaction with you on my new tier!!!!!!!!! I absolutely LOVED "Your Name".....I can see why it's such a popular movie now! I went in thinking it would be a romance....and well, I wasn't wrong, but it was SO much more than that! I really enjoyed finding out the little twists (and BIG twists) along the way, and the development of the bond between the two main characters was really special! I love how it switched from cute and fun to more serious on a dime!!!!!! The latter part of the movie just had me going the whole time worried!!!!!! I had such a great time with this one and I hope you do too! Here's to many more movie reactions!!!! Happy July / 4th of July, everyone! ~ MH

I think this one could definitely use a re-watch or two, there were so many amazing visuals and details that I know I probably missed on the first viewing! Good point about the dub, I'll keep that in mind since a lot of folks have great things to say about it! I can't wait either, thanks again!!!!

Great point that the cut-aways didn't make it clear how long it took for the meteor to hit and whether or not it hit any people! Such a great twist! God bless they found each other i was gonna lose it at the end. You're right it's a romance with a twist. It was good, my eyes were puffy by the end of it. I'm such a sucker for a good love story. 👏

It's so much fun going back to watch the movie a few more times to see all the stuff you missed the first time (because you wouldn't know any better of course!). I remember the second time around being just as emotional too, haha. If you happen to re-watch it, I'd recommend giving the dub a shot, just so you can say you've seen both and plus it's a different experience! Can't wait for future movies <3

The only goal was to get every one out, which Mitsuha convinced her dad to enact an evacuation drill. If you watch the meteor hit again, you’ll see that there’s no people in any of the shots. Also, it didn’t say how long the meteor took from when she went to her dad to when it made impact. To skip right to it was for dramatic tension. (I loved your reaction, so I hope this didn’t come across as ornery, lol. Just doubted anyone else would explain it a bit, so I wanted to give you a bit of insight into that ending stuff.)

This is the highest grossing anime film of all time. This is also the highest rated anime film on MyAnimeList.net (the largest database of the anime community). Overall, it is the 9th highest rated anime on the website. PS. Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2 is the 7th highest rated anime on the website.
