This version contains a really critical bug fix, along with other minor fixes and general back end improvement to the scripts and overall functionality of the mod.

This might not be the most exciting update for you, features wise, but I believe it is important to set aside some time every now and again to improve the functionality of the mod, as well as correct stuff that isn't working as expected.

NOTE: This version will remove all Cannabis Ziplock bags bought from Dark Web and NPC Dealers from your game, so it is recommended you first sell those off before updating the game, unless you don't need the Simoleons.

Changing World

The prices for drugs bought by the NPC dealers have been changed around on a regional basis, and there is new batches of molly out on the streets.

Previously I have been updating the tuning files manually for this feature for each Patreon release, which took a lot of time and, truth be told, started to become a pain in the ass to manage.

Now it is all automated through scripts so I can spend more time for future releases actually working on new features instead of wasting time altering these files.


Critical Cocaine/Amphetamine Customers Bug

With version 6.13.154 I managed to introduce a critical and extremely annoying bug. To explain what the bug is in simple terms:

If you had a High Level Cocaine Client, all your Sims ages teen and up turned into potential cocaine customers, completely removing the need to perform any social interactions on them to turn them into customers. Same thing was true if you had a High Level Amphetamine Client in your game. All your Sims ages teen and up turned into potential amphetamine customers.

If your game is affected by this, you will get greeted with this notification now when booting up the game and loading up a household


Please read this carefully as the bug fix does require a bit of legwork on your part to properly sort out. It is not a huge amount of legwork, but still... legwork.

If you click "Yes! Lets Clean Up This Mess" what happens is that all amphetamine and/or cocaine customers will get removed as customers, and it will give you a Sim Picker for adding new ones without the need to actually socialize or convince these new ones to become customers. That way you can easily add your old customers back, (and some additional ones if you feel like it, as an added bonus).

It is important, however, that you do not cancel out of these Sim Pickers, but rather go through the task of adding all your customers as you won't get this option again.


Cannabis Ziplock Bags

This is probably the feature I spent most time working on for this release.

You know that menu you get when purchasing drugs, either from the Dark Web or from your NPC Dealer? Those are called Purchase Pickers.

The issue with these purchase pickers are that they don't really account for stuff like quality of items when purchased, and the quality will always be set to it's default value, which, in the case of Cannabis Ziplock bags is "Normal Quality".

The way I solved this for the last couple of releases was a temporary and not great workaround. I added duplicate items of all those bags that defaulted to "Excellent Quality" so you got excellent quality bags from the Dark Web or from the NPC Dealers (if you had a high enough friendship level with them).

However, having duplicates of the same items with the only difference being what the quality defaults to is less than an optimal solution, and also provides a lot more hassle in terms of testing for payments and so on and so forth.

The way I have solved this now is to build my own purchase pickers by script and make sure that cannabis quality is accounted for. It took a lot of time, but also enables me to do a lot more stuff regarding tests and additional cool stuff attached to my custom purchase pickers.

This also means, as mentioned in the header of this post, all those ziplock bags of cannabis that you bought from the dealer or dark web is now gone from the mod, so if you had any of those in your Sims inventory, best sell them off before updating to this version.

I don't know why I'm commenting this, but I thought it was hilarious that two roid dealers showed up at the gym while my sim was working out. One of my other sims hooked up with one of them, and got pregnant. The kid's pretty cute
