2024-09-18 20:46:22 +0000 UTCI always like to imagine an alternate timeline where Hwang Sooyeon made it into the MINX lineup and later transitioned with the rest into Dreamcatcher. As if the group isn't already stacked enough with talent lol. Sooyeon is definitely a versatile artist, obviously born with innate talent for dance, she's also proven here that she is a very competent rapper. After seeing her solo debut earlier this year, she also has a great and unique vocal tone, slightly nasally (in a good way) and a little smokey which is perfect for the R&B style she went for. Glad that she is where she's at now though and she seems to love what she does which is what matters most!

2024-09-18 12:58:50 +0000 UTCI might be too harsh but if you end up at any company not BIG 4, people who think like Yubin "let's use someone else's fame and pretend to be confident" are going to have a terrible time.... Soyeon's line "I don't want to perform someone else's song/line, it hurts my ego" is where I became her fan. Devisive mentality of course, but I relate a lot!
