I always thought the cars were super cool too (still do!) but agree- I could never consider buying one now that it would mean supporting musk. It’s a shame he let his ego take over. Truly a reprehensible person now.

2024-09-15 09:46:28 +0000 UTCI just have to leave a little comment here regarding Elon Musk… Im a huge car geek… I love cars, live and breathe cars… One of my biggest passions. I’ve been a huge fan and supporter of Tesla since, basically, it’s inception (from the Model S forward)… I was a teenager then, and always dreamed on owning a Tesla, since before they were mainstream. Now, im a stage in my life where I finally could have bought one, but I can’t. Elon has tarnished the brand for me, and Idk if anyone else could relate, but I am in a way heartbroken about it because Im not willing to support him by purchasing a Tesla. I don’t judge others for buying Teslas, they truly are amazing cars and what Tesla did for the electrification of the automobile industry was unprecedented and put all other car manufacturers on alert, propelling the EV industry forward. But I cannot in good conscience own a Tesla while he financially benefits from it. Thank you, Madame Bussy, for sharing your thoughts with us.

2024-09-09 19:18:08 +0000 UTCThe lip sync song choice wasn't confusing to me. A-ha was a Norwegian 80s band, but "Take On Me" was No. 1 on US and UK charts, so it seems pretty appropriate for GAS, in my opinion! Given that OF COURSE there's going to be a US/UK slant. 🙄

He's there, they want to make use of him. It would cost a lot of money to fly someone appropriate in for the episode. They did it for Matt Rogers-- and it would have been more appropriate for Matt to have judged this episode, so he could also participate as a director. But Jamal did a fine job, in my opinion.

Like Alyssa did fine and she is super funny, but I dunno, I just felt like she was weakest in her group, at least. Also, some of the funniest parts were cut from the Boobie movie trailers. The riggory and favouritism is off the charts in this season... I really hope they don't do GAS next year, and if they do, it needs MAJOR changes. Yikes. Also, fun fact: The world's biggest Steam Punk festival is held near where I live, in Lincoln (UK), and people from all over the world attend every year.
