The Rings of Akhaten speech has been given to former Doctors at convention to sight read. They do well enough but Matt's performance in just so perfect. I love how he says "But when we are holding onto something precious, we run." I'm glad you're enjoying Clara's beginning so far. She really is a great companion.

2024-12-19 00:10:55 +0000 UTCCLARA WHO IKTRRRRR 🙌🏻 honestly the soundtrack for this ep stands out SO MUCH, Murray Gold really lived up to his name and made straight GOLD on this one 😭 unsurprisingly this goes down as one of 11’s best speeches in his entire run, never seen ANYONE watch this ep without crying and it’s not even that sad by Doctor Who standards! it’s just BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!! it’s a beautiful thing seeing someone else experience it too, SO glad you’re getting to such big moments in the show like this now! 🤩 Clara making a name for herself this early on in her arc is INSANE btw, our girl doesn’t even NEED character development FR 😮💨 ironically for this plot, SHE ATE THAT
