ScheduleMy.Family: a Non-Gaming Tool I Made for My Own Use
Added 2020-04-23 14:40:46 +0000 UTCAs you all probably know, 5eMagic was born from me building tools I wanted to use in my own home games. In that spirit, and for our working-from-home parents with school-age children, may I present ScheduleMy.Family.
With our kids home during this COVID-19 season, and my wife and I both working, keeping them on a routine doesn't always align with our ever-changing schedules of Zoom/Skype/Teams/Whatevers throughout the day. So I built a simple tool that lets us show our kids what they're supposed to be doing at any given time.
My son has it on his Chromebook, and we keep our living room Smart TV's browser on it during the day. When a station/class is supposed to change, it has an optional audio cue that tells our 4-year-old to come look at the TV. She can't read well yet, but she knows the sunshine icon means recess.
It's not incredibly fancy or anything, but it's free to use, if you or someone you know would find it useful. Feel free to share it around. I'm not getting back-links or ad revenue or anything. It's just a tool I thought some people might find useful.

2020-04-27 00:45:14 +0000 UTCHey Magic.Shop! I'm from Australia, and it looks like while the clock uses my local time, the scheduler still uses your local time. I snapped a couple screenshots showing that the clock showed '10:29AM' and '10:30AM' while the events switched over showing '07:29 PM' and '07:30 PM'.
