Testers Needed for Big/Invisible Change

When I first built the site, I made a bad choice for ease of development, and that technical debt has come due. I've got a major change to back-end functionality (how I store shop inventory) pending, but before I just flip the switch, I'd like to have other eyeballs on it.
This release will include a number of bug fixes (including some that have been irritating me for several releases), but the massive change should be completely invisible. And that's where I need help.
Would any of you be willing to guinea pig this a bit? I'll basically be duplicating the existing site (and all your existing shops) into another URL, then implementing my new system in that test environment. You should then be able to compare both to see if there's any unexpected difference.
This would likely only take a few minutes of your time, but it'd really give me a lot more peace of mind before I start running one-way scripts against the database.
