Some photos from my last couple of shoots this Fall with Sayeed. If you're following me on Instagram, you know that the first of these two shoots, right before the photo where I'm wearing the plastic panties actually, I stepped on a nail while wearing Crocs. It went through the Crocs and into my foot (barely). I was trying to pull back an old blind to let more light into the old bathroom and didn't see it sticking up, because there was too much rubble. Since it was a falling down building and the nail rusty and 20+ years since my last tetanus shot, Sayeed insisted I get a tetanus booster shot. So, I went to Rite Aid after we were done shooting. The shot (at Rite Aid) costs $79, $45 with the GoodRX card, maybe less if you use an insurance/prescription card, if you need to know that. My arm did hurt for quite a while, but my foot was just fine. She stabbed my dominant arm and told me to use it and not baby it. :) Love the art Sayeed and I create. One of his photos of me was selected for a show/book on Portraits at the Southeast Center for Photography in Greenville, SC. We hope to one day, when Covid is over, produce a physical exhibition of our work together, perhaps in Columbus, Ohio. If that happens, I will be sure to invite all of you.
