Episode 1: Where do I begin?

This is really scary and vulnerable for me!!!! But I feel extra alive, like sky diving.

All about who I am, why am I doing Patreon, when did I start in the industry, what are my wildest hopes and dreams for the future!

It's vulnerable to want something in this day and age. It's scary to share directly.

But what.

the fuck.

I am waiting for?

I really needed to ditch my perfectionist (hi, Virgo!) on this one and just speak from the heart. It may be on the looser side than future episodes. It's hard to start, but here we are.

timestamps:

0:00 - 3:00  umms and uhhs of starting somewhere, warming up

3:08 - 6:38  my relationship to sharing on the internet, past a cute dog but slight embarrassment around the owner lol, instagram thoughts

6:40 - 10:15  why am I doing this thingy, where did the idea spawned from, mars retrograde, trauma in sharing

10:16 - 34:58  2019 to May of 2022 overview, the picture, timeline of my relationship with the music industry, barista vibes, gaslighting, label deals, pee buckets, pandemic vibes

35:00 -  38:40 CW: su*c*de, pretty women quotes, worth tied to art, lots and lots of crows

39:00 - 44:00 disembodied voices and new inspirations, more crows, helping a man out

45:00 - 51:00 thoughts on being good enough, perfectionism, world building, starting somewhere

51:45 - 59:00 deep cleansing breaths, lady gaga, car alarm omens, ultimate dreams

1:00 - 1:07 final thots and thank yous

Wow <3 :') thank you so much for not only listening to this but also your lovely reflections. I can't imagine being honored more than being accompanied by Nick Drake!!!

Hannah Wolf

I loved so many things about this: insistence that TikTok shouldn’t be the end point for social media, the heartbreaking details of your journey through the industry, the honesty around your struggle with self-worth, the commitment to rebuilding your life based around connecting with people like Lady Gaga on the floor, meditations (some of my favorites are on Gil Fronsdal’s Audio Dharma podcast), and spaces for people to get as weird and as beautifully non-commercial as they wish. For a while I was accompanying you by playing Day is Done by Nick Drake on the piano, which fit extremely well. Thank you, and lots of love 🌺
