We made the decision to maintain a “beachhead” in Fate/UB.Fuyuki and make a family with Taiga there, somewhat disconnected from the rest of our kingdom. For a lack of a better term, it would serve as a place where trade, much like how we traded with Gimel.US, would occur.

We bought a proper house, not an apartment unit, on the northern edge of the city.

“Eh, it’s a little bit close to the docks,” Taiga hummed. “And a bit far from work.”

We hadn’t thought of that. Just because she agreed to marry us, it didn’t change whatever else she was doing. She was still a teacher.

“We could drive you there and back.”

“What about your job?” she asked us with a raised eyebrow. “Don’t government workers have strict hours?”

We told her, the second time that we met, that we were involved in administration and government, which was correct but also misleading.

“About that, we have to talk,” we said gently with a smile as we grabbed her hand softly and led her into the currently clean but barren house.

“Alan…?” she called me as she followed. Then her jaw dropped when we pulled out a brown leather sofa from nowhere and then plopped it down onto the living room. “Y-You’re like Shirou’s dad?!”

We held a finger to our lips, and she immediately puckered up.

“Rin, Shinji, and Sakura are involved, though on a societal periphery kind of way,” we explained as we led her to the couch and sat down. She sat down eagerly with us, her eyes shining with a desire to learn. We supposed that such an attitude made her a good teacher. “I told you that we were in administration and government, right?”

She nodded, still waiting for me to bare it all for her.

“Technically speaking, that is correct.”

“Are you … like puppeting governments?”

“No. I’m a king.”

She blinked.

And then tilted her head. “Huh?”

“I already showed your grandfather to convince him, so I suppose…”

“You showed jiji first?! What did you show him?!”

We smiled. “My kingdom.”

And then we opened a portal to our left and her right. She blinked as sunlight poured in and she looked.

Her eyes widened and she rose up slowly.

Did we mention that the Alps right now was in late spring and there were flowers everywhere?

We stood up and followed after her as she stepped out of the hardwood and lacquered floor onto soft grass and flower of the Marris Valley.

"Is that your castle?!" she asked excitedly as she pointed down the valley before frowning and narrowing her eyes. "Those look nothing like castles."

"Well, they are forts for certain," we replied. "But before we go down, I have something else to tell you."

"... You're a poor king?" she haphazarded a guess.

We laughed. Poor was one thing we were not. "No. I'm superhuman."

She blinked. "The portal thing, right?"

"Not just that. I am… more than one person."

She looked confused at our admission. "Huh?"

A portal opened and C104 walked up to C55 wearing identical clothes.

"We," we emphasized. "Are more than one person."

She looked absolutely gobsmacked.

"Buh. What? How?"

"But it also means that we have the urges of all of us."

She blinked and then paled. "Umm. I don't think… I can last that long."

We laughed. "We won't be doing that, Taiga. We love you-" we were very close to loving her, actually. "-and we will be having a family back in Fuyuki, not here. War erupts often around here, you know?"

She paled at the mention of war.

"No, we will be your husband in Fuyuki and your Earth," we said as C104 stepped back and closed the portal. C55 walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her. "My one and only of your Earth."

She struggled with what we were for a long moment before giving up and hugging us back. "Okay, I get it. You … probably have other women here but no one else in my Earth, okay?!"

"Yes."

Buy if Rin and Sakura happened to be free and we brought them over here… well, it was still in line with her agreement. She was my only woman on her Earth.

We led her back to our house and closed the portal behind us.

And then we wrapped our arms around her.
