oh that's a much better way to go about things because then you can sell the situation much more. I probably won't watch s1 then because I don't want to have my opinion tainted on the series due to the flaw of the producers haha..

Since you're skipping S1, one minor (?) difference you might be interested to know is that in S1 players are not as invested due to lack of time to study their characters - it's not bad, but it kind of kills the suspense at times haha. iirc from S2 onwards they are given a few weeks to learn about the case and their own characters.
