Hello everyone!
Today is a bittersweet day for the team. On one side, I’m extremely happy with how things are coming along for the puppeteers' cutscenes and how much we could accomplish in that area this month. On the other side, one of our animators, Sergey, is Ukrainian. We couldn’t pull as many cutscenes as we did this month without him, who was able to work at an incredible pace to make all the animations of characters talking while sitting down that you’ll see on this patch.
What happens is that on day 24 he sent me a message asking me to wish him luck and that he was hoping to work with us again in the nearest future, but that he had a war situation right now. I tried to contact him but ever since that day I couldn’t reach him, and I’m extremely worried about his wellbeing. I hope he’s all right and that he can contact us again given a few weeks, but in the meantime, all we can do is wait and put our thoughts and prayers on the people that are right now going through this extremely difficult situation.

Fixes
- Fixed moving to next/previous keys while selecting skills
- Fixed loot colliding with Kalyskah and camera when she dropped it and also fixed giant droppable key
- Fixed Kalyskah's stretched legs when landing
- Fixed Juniper staring Kalyskah after she shows the referral
- Fixed Havier lip-sync when Kalyskah return to him
- Fixed the text of Kalyskah's ragged dress and fixed dress.
- Fixed Kalyskah redressing after a scene in BDSM devices.
- Skylights should now be properly handled by checkpoints: If you are using a checkpoint to get to a cave and that cave doesn’t have a skylight, the sky will turn off. If you are exiting the cave through checkpoints, the sky will turn on again. This was causing some really dark shadows sometimes;
- Optimized NPCs dialogue state so they won’t be trying to track Kalyskah all the time. This can save a bit of CPU performance in the open world;
- Fixed global time in slow motion, so Celerity skill should be working properly now;
- Fixed "something happened to this text" error that would sometimes happen when a dialogue line didn't have a voiceover
- Fixed compass marker on brothel quest
- Added a workaround on loot bags so they will be dropped 1 second after NPC death, which will make them collide with the floor again
- Added missing line on Havier’s dialogue where he explains to Kalyskah about boundaries;
Enhancements
- Skills bound to hotkeys will now be properly saved;
- Alchemist quest will now only trigger after the player completed the city of thieves questline, to prevent players from getting frustrated with rivers;
- Heavy improvements on eye-tracking functions, NPCs and Kalyskah will now move their heads and torso towards who they are talking with. This can cause some issues on cutscenes where we forgot to turn the eye-tracking off when no character should be tracked during dialogue, so please let us know if you see someone twisting awkwardly in one of the earlier cutscenes;

- Added an option to change the clock from 24h to the AM/PM style
- Fixed something on the game settings that were a bit confusing: Sometimes players would report that their settings weren’t being saved, but as far as we could test it, what was actually happening is that people could not be noticing the “save settings” option at the bottom of the menu. So now if you are leaving the settings menu without saving, the game will show a popup for you to confirm if you’d like to save the settings;
- Added new sitting animations;
- Improved Jessie's glasses and made her lipstick a bit brighter;

- Tweaked the way cleavage morph is applied so it prevents NPCs from breaking their breasts in certain situations... Although we still couldn't figure out why their morphs are behaving awkwardly when you approach them after they being for a while outside of the screen;
- Added compass marker on Puppeteers Stage;
Features
- Finished the Cutscene where Kalyskah takes the oath of the puppeteers for now. There might be improvements after this patch though like we’ll probably decrease the volume of Jessie’s moanings…
- Started to sketch the new inventory logic that will allow us to say that certain items are spread through multiple slots. Which will allow us to make some pieces of equipment mix with others. For example, if Kalyskah is wearing equipment that is only the panties, this won’t prevent her from putting on the ones that didn’t have anything on her legs, like the boots of the hexblade armour;

- This is how the leg parts that uses the boot slot will look like. This is a work in progress so visuals are not final and there is probably some armour pieces that are not properly assigned yet.

You might notice that the game won't auto-update for our patrons on this build. This happens because we had to create a new page on itch.io for this version since it took us a while to realise that itch wasn't really working requesting the monthly pledge from patron and was updating the game even when the pledge was inactive.
So following the advice of other fellow developers that also release their games through itch, we'll start to create new pages for every version of the game So for example, versions like 0.19.1 or 0.19.2 will be released on the same page as the current one because the third number of a version is always a hotfix or completing the implementation of something planned for a version. This means that hotfixes will update automatically like they always did, but once we move to version 0.20.0, we'll create a new page for that version for our active patrons at that time to download.
At the end of the day, what changes is that from now on, you'll get a new link in every update post on Patreon that will give you access to the latest version, and if it's a hotfix and the game is already in your itch library, it will update automatically.
