Release postponed for a week

Sorry guys, I need to postpone the release until the 25th, as I've been in a pretty bad slump as of late. For a while now, I've been having a hard time making the lewd content work in the game, which in turn, has been roadblocking me from making more playable content. I've been trying to figure out why this has been the case, and I've come up with a few target issues:

A. Whenever I add a gameplay mechanic, I feel like I need to scramble something together to showcase it immediately, so what comes out seems more like something to demonstrate the mechanic's possibilities, instead of the mechanic actually being used to enhance the experience.

B. Since I was originally doing a serious, somewhat grim story, it felt appropriate to the tone to do harsher, more serious sexual content. That works if the game is meant to focus on the grim parts. But for a game that's focused on lewds, it's not interesting, and in some cases, is really just disturbing and uncomfortable to make, nevermind play through.

C. I'm getting overwhelmed with having to come up with varying ways to get through obstacles in the game. Making content like the gang hideout kidnapping and its various outcomes, is getting to be too much for me to handle.

Okay, so what can I do about these points. For A, I suppose I don't need to add mechanics every release. There's still several systems I want to put in, notably: crafting, a missions log, giving Nui an enemy scan ability. But there's enough systems in place now that I should probably just focus on content for the next while.

Out of all of these, point B is by far the thing that's killing my ability to make progress, and what I need to watch out for the most. I need to make lewd content that I'm comfortable with, aka fun and weird stuff, like in Lust Doll (and I feel like you guys would prefer that too.) Which means not writing myself into situations where I'm forced to make unfun lewd content. I think I'm just gonna have to be a lot more careful, and plan out that stuff well ahead of time. (And once I expand the roster of characters, making fun/weird stuff will be a lot more straightforward to do. Just... gotta get there first.)

As for point C, I'll try to curb it, and maybe not always have multiple outcomes, or have different paths which lead to the same place. Or maybe just do one path first, and if I have time, go back and do other possible scenarios. I think that's the best I can do here.

Alright, I'm gonna do what I can to push myself out of this slump and handle the next update. Thanks for bearing with me. I swear I'll sort this out!

NG+ is broken in this release -- when you try to restart it crashes saying it can't find a graphics file c9-mablezmachine-crotch3; if you copy a png in and rename it that, it gives the same message for crotch4, and if you keep adding them, it keeps adding zs before machine forever.

Hey, just wanted to mention it's absolutely fine. Exploration is part of development process and sometimes leads to a route we're not fully comfortable following. But in the end it's creative work and it's way more productive to step back and rethink a thing or two, than stick to a theme to the bitter end.
