0.7 Status Update #2

This week we continued designing a minor set. A bathroom renovation, so to speak. It hasn't been seen in-game yet but its use has been implied and it will be more relevant in the game soon. We've also started working on a Ms. Hill scene. This scene will be taking place in a couple of different sets and will be our focus next.
We also picked the final outfit choice for Bree. In the next update, she'll have a scene which spans across several sets as well and it will take place during the evening. We've mixed and matched her worn outfits with some new pieces and you'll get to choose which fit she wears in the evening.
Do you like to know what scenes we're working on as we progress on the update, or do you prefer a more vague approach?
Work also continued on scripting and screenplay. We're looking to start making leaps in production next week when it comes to renders, and eventually animations aimed towards later in the update. We might also work on scenes out of order this time to get some of the important scenes done faster and get animations cooking early on.

The way we produced in 0.5 didn't transfer perfectly to 0.6 and caused some bottlenecks and consistency issues. It should be better now, and hopefully you'll be better soon as well. :)

That said, I agree with the views echoed by others that it's best to keep it vaguely vague so as to avoid spoilers. It's always gonna be better to find out during the game but if you would still like us to follow along, perhaps you could tell us we're working on an outdoor evening scene or an afternoon bathroom scene. Or if you tell us that you're working on a Bree scene without mentioning where or when it takes places as you have above when talking about Ms Hill. Either way though, keep up the great work. I love your game and I hope it continues to live up to the high standards you've set for yourself in future updates.

I also think the new DevLog is much better. Thank you guys for listening to the community. Vague hints are still enough. I don't like spoilers and want to discover everything for myself. I sincerely hope that you guys will continue to be yourselves with the new update and that you won't stop making the game the way you used to because of the complaints. Don't forget that shortness was the problem, not the quality or the way you did it. So keep your style in there. Have a good weekend everyone and stay healthy.

I would still prefer not to know how the scene will take place, I mean saying "in the evening" is fine but just no spoilers. For now, I'd say keep it the way it is rn.
